About Me

My journey with art began early, my mother often says I first picked up colors when I was just two. Although I never pursued formal art education, creativity has always stayed close to me. For seventeen years, I worked in the technology industry, while art quietly remained a part of my life.

About five years ago, after moving to British Columbia, Canada, art became more than a creative outlet, it became a source of connection and healing. Surrounded by forests, open skies, changing seasons, and vibrant neighborhoods deeply shaped my work. As a nature-inspired artist, I draw endless inspiration from the landscapes and everyday beauty around me, translating those feelings into my paintings.

I work primarily with gouache, a medium I love for its softness, vibrancy, and patience. Gouache has taught me to slow down and be present. My process is intentional and intuitive, I don’t aim to recreate a scene exactly as I see it, but to express how it feels. I create original gouache paintings from my home studio, occasionally stepping outdoors during summer, using gentle yet luminous tones that invite stillness.

Art became especially meaningful during my postpartum journey. Creating Art gave me space to reconnect with myself during quiet and challenging moments, and helped me return with more presence to my family. Some of my most cherished pieces were created during this time.

I love sharing my work through art markets across Greater Vancouver, where meeting people, hearing their perspectives, and learning what resonates with them continues to inspire and motivate me. These connections are at the heart of why I create and share my work.

Through my art, I hope to offer a sense of calm and stillness, a quiet reminder that it’s okay to slow down. My wish is for each painting to become a gentle companion: something you can return to when you feel anxious, overwhelmed, or in need of reassurance. A visual pause, a soft reminder that you are enough, exactly where you are.
